This will hopefully be the only post I will write in English for this is a blog to practice and use the German language I am slowly learning. I had this idea a few months back, with my obsession of food blogs and beginning to finally learn the language that is my heritage. Just recently I was in the country side of Germany near Würzburg and there was an abundance of plums. My instant thought was ‘I need to bake plum cake’. I have never wanted to bake a plum cake, nor craved it, but for some reason it was just instinct. The plum cake is finished and smells surprisingly good (for never have baked plum cake previously) and my next instant thought is ‘I need to photograph this plum cake!’ And this is where my (broken) german food blog LECKER begins.
P.S. the translation of lecker is delicious.
